Strengthening its presence in the European market, HBA Global has announced the appointment of Emanuela “Ema” Treneva as its new international sales director. Based in Paris, France, Treneva will provide sales outreach and customer support to European beauty and personal care suppliers. She will also facilitate relationships with European beauty and wellness organizations, media and pan-European customers.

HBA Global Expo & Conference is the product development event for the cosmetic, fragrance, personal care, skin care and well-being industries. The 18th Annual event will take place September 28-30, 2010, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY. With the Spa & Resort Expo held September 28 & 29 and co-located and managed by HBA, Treneva will also be building and maintaining relationships with international spa and skin care industry professionals.

Prior to joining HBA Global, Treneva was international advertising manager for Cosmédias, the former European trade publisher of ICN, Cosmetic News Weekly, Cosmeticnews.com as well as its French-only publications Cosmétique Mag and Cosmétique Hebdo. In this role, she developed year-round print and digital media plans for companies such as Estee Lauder, Korres and L’Oreal as well as packaging and ingredients suppliers from all over the world.
